The shop is owned and run by Janine Bruns, specializing in party supplies and advertising and Edith Knoetze, responsible for the administration and kiddies’ toys.

The Fun Shop, situated in the centre of Swakopmund, Namibia opened its doors as Bxtreme Hobbies in August 2007 as a Hobby and Toy shop with a difference and added Bxtreme Party Supplies as a Party and Dress-up shop in 2010.

As we changed the focus of our shop to party supplies, costumes and accessories, whilst retaining the toy section, we decided to also update/change our name and logo. Hence the creation of The Fun Shop.

What We Do?

Not only are we proud of rendering a personalized service to our clients, we also strive to keep up with all the newest trends for both the young and old, boys and girls, men and women.

We offer a wide range of toys, party supplies and dress up options for young and old:

• We Offer the latest trends in Children Toys which are both educational and fun
• Our Party/Carnival section has been expanded with a wide range of themes and wedding décor.
• Helium/Party gas to fill balloons. We also offer a variety of balloon decorations for special occasions.

Most of our stock we obtain from suppliers in South Africa but also import certain products ourselves where feasible.
